This is our Repair & Replenish Anti -Oxidant bath soak. The main concept of this treatment and really any soak is to take a hot bath so that steam from the hot water opens pores on your body and allow these ingredients to get absorbed into the skin to do their magic. Personally I like to use two heaping tablespoons sprinkled under running water. However you can use as much or as little as you’d like.
There is no fragrance added for two reasons:
1) we wanted to make this potion accessible to everyone even those with sensitive skin.
2) we wanted you to have the versatility of using this in conjunction with any bath salts or bombs with no fear or fragrances clashing. The natural scent on its own is a very healthy earthy botanical scent.
Ingredients and what they are known to do are as follows:
Green Tea’s anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce skin irritation, skin redness, and swelling. Applying green tea to your skin can soothe minor cuts and sunburn, too. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, studies have also found topical green tea to be an effective remedy for many dermatological conditions.
Coconut Creams antimicrobial properties works to prevent clogged pores and breakouts. The Vitamin C and copper improves flexibility and elasticity of the skin which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Antioxidants such as ferulic acid and caffeic acid are found in coconut milk and work harder and faster to nourish skin, hair, and nails than Vitamin E.
Colloidal Oatmeal binds to your skin and locks in moisture, giving your skin a chance to re-hydrate. It also softens your skin and soothes itching. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it great for people who have dry skin, because it helps balance your skin’s natural pH levels.
Elderflower contains antioxidants that protect against sun and other free-radical damage. They have also been shown to promote blood circulation and are packed with vitamins A, B, C, and E. These are excellent for making the skin firmer, improving complexion and evening out skin tone.
Dandelion Root contains detoxifying properties that rid the skin of toxins that clog pores and cause acne, as well as vitamin C to speed up the body’s natural healing process and reduce the appearance of scars and skin inflammation
